Thurles Templemore Municipal District Council is to make a number of free parking offers in the towns of Thurles, Roscrea and Templemore during December to help support the retail trade sector.
In Thurles there will be Free Parking throughout the town for the first 30 minutes of every day for the month of December 2024. Parking in the car parks in Thurles will be free on the first three Saturdays in December – Saturday December 7th, Saturday December 14th and on the 21st.
Roscrea drivers will have Free Parking throughout the town every Saturday for the month of December 2024 while in Templemore there is a similar offer of Free Parking throughout the town every Saturday for the month of December 2024.
Each Municipal District Council makes it’s own arrangements based on budgetary constraints and the parking offer it identifies as the best support for retail trade in the relevant town.
