A local family impacted by a house fire on Sunday are now desperately searching for a home on a short term basis.
Repairs to the home in Rossmore Village may take several months and the household have been in a number of temporary accommodations since Sunday night. Any home in Tipperary town or surrounding areas would be considered. The fire caused significant damage to the house and the family lost personal possessions in the fire. Other items are smoke damaged including clothing. The youngest child of four is in Junior Cert and the oldest two are currently in College.
A GoFundMe has been set up to give the family some immediate support and friends have donated accommodation in local hotels and B & Bs. The GoFundMe is titled Help the Compton Family after Devastating House Fire and can be viewed at this link here
