Some customers of Uisce Eireann in Farranlahassery near Cahir may have supply disruptions today and tomorrow. Today between noon and 4pm the company are undertaking leak detection works in Farranlahassery and surrounding areas.
Uisce Eireann are to repair a mains water pipe in the area tomorrow as part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme. This work is also scheduled for between noon and 4pm.
The company says normal supply should be restored between 3 and 4 hours after the works are completed.
Uisce Eireann publishes updates on the company website water.ie and is also offering customers a text notification service of outages both planned and unplanned that will last for more than four hours. Customers need to input their mobile phone number and Eircode to register for the service on the company website. The Uisce Eireann Customer Care Team can be contacted by telephoning 1 800 278 278.
