Caherconlish Sessuin will take place this Wednesday night 20th of November at 8.30pm in the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish. All are welcome.

Residents of the west end area of Tipperary Town are invited to the West End Association AGM on Wednesday 20th November at 7pm. In the Community Services Centre, Michael Street, Tipperary.

Cappamore Historical Society is hosting a lecture on Wednesday the 20th November at 7.30pm in the local Community Centre. The title of the lecture is “The Good Friday Agreement”. A modest admission charge applies to non-members including refreshments. All are welcome.

A concert in aid of Rahealty National School will be staged in the Premier Hall, Thurles on Saturday December 7th. The event begins at 7pm and tickets are available at Rahealty National School, Bookworm Bookshop, Thurles or by contacting Maria on 086-3031243. The concert features Michael Molumby, Thurles Cathedral Choir and Musical Society, Fr. James Purcell, Cathy Keane, Rahealty School Choir alongside a host of local performers.

A book launch will be held at the Excel, Tipperary Town at 2.00pm on Saturday 23rd November. The book is called “Revolutionary Women of Tipperary, 1914-1923”. An index of Cumann na mBan, Pension of Service Medal applicants by Dr. Noreen Higgins McHugh. All are welcome.

Circle of Friends, Cancer Support Centre, Knit & Knatter group, pop up shop will be in Costigan’s old chemist, 52 Main Street, Tipperary Town on Thursday 21st November and Friday 22nd November from 10.30am to 4pm. Please support.

Monard Community Hall, Christmas Market on Sunday 24th November from 12 noon to 3pm. Lots of amazing stalls under the one roof.

The annual Oola Christmas Fair takes place on Sunday 8th December at Oola Community Centre from 2pm to 6pm. Featuring: Craft Market with over 30 stalls, live music, mega raffle, plenty of festive food and drink, Oola Club’s 30 year celebrations and meet and greet with Santa Claus.

Paddy Corcoran from Golden is hosting an afternoon tea in The GAA Community Hall in Golden on Sunday 24th November at 3pm. Raise funds for The Hope Foundation. Paddy will be travelling to India with The Hope Foundation School Programme. Tickets can be booked by contacting 087-2425132

The Rosary will be recited in St. John’s Famine Graveyard at 3.30pm every Sunday for the month of November.
