All 12 of the general election candidates nominated for South Tipperary will contest the election according to the Returning Officer James Seymour. The deadline to withdraw was noon today. South Tipperary will elect three TDs in the November 29th election. Registered voters can vote between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
The candidates will appear in alphabetical order on the ballot paper as follows – Michael Brenna, hospitality manager from Fethard for the Labour Party, Martin Browne from Cashel Public Representative for Sinn Fein, Bill Fitzgerald, IT Technician from Cahir Independent, Imelda Goldsboro Public Representative from Ballingarry for Fianna Fáil, Seamus Healy Clonmel, community worker Independent, Myriam Madigan from Clonmel, retired for the Green Party, Rosemary McGlone, teacher in county Down for Aontu, John McGrath, truck driver, Hollyford, The National Party, Mattie McGrath, Public Representative Newcastle Independent, Michael Murphy Public Representative Clonmel for Fine Gael, John O’Heney Lattin, self-employed Independent and Nadaline Webster, Hospital, County Limerick a strategy director running for Independent Ireland.
