Cllr Liam Browne Will Not Be A Candidate In This Months General Election

Tipperary Cahir Cashel Independent Councillor Liam Browne says while he may seek a Dáil seat in the future he will not be a candidate in the November 29th election.

 Mr Browne was elected on the first count in June with 1,665 votes. Cllr Browne says wants to serve a term as Councillor to work for voters that elected him in Tipperary Cahir Cashel and adds that the cost of any election campaign is considerable especially for Independent Candidates.

Liam Browne says he is grateful for the support of people encouraging him to run and for the offers of financial support. As a Councillor with a full time job Mr Browne is also grateful for the flexibility his employer allows to enable him to take on Council work.

The Rosegreen based councillor is appealing to the voters in Tipperary to come out in force to use their vote on November 29th –  to date 10 candidates have declared that they will stand for election in South Tipperary.
