A documentary highlighting the crisis at University Hospital Limerick will be aired on national television tonight.
The Virgin Media TV doc will tell the “stories from inside the hospital, a hospital that had been called unsafe and a death trap.
Speaking on Ireland AM Richard Chambers says the issues at the hospital serving Limerick, Clare and North Tipp have been long standing.
Mr Chambers says the decision to close EDs in St Johns, Ennis and Nenagh was predicated on boosting capacity at UHL however that capacity was never achieved.
UHL: Ireland’s Hospital Crisis will be broadcast on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Play at 10pm.
