Clonoulty Rossmore won the county Senior Camogie title on Saturday by defeating Thurles Sarsfields on a score line of Clonoulty 21 points Thurles Sars 1 – 12. The win came after the Clonoulty team lost four senior finals in a row to their arch rivals from Drom whom they defeated in the semi-final
Cappawhite Ladies Intermediate football team progressed to the semi-final in the Munster Intermediate Club Championship by defeating Eire Og Ennis on a score of Cappawhite 3 – 8 to Eire Og 1 – 5.
Two local teams met in the Intermediate County men’s Football Final with Aherlow scoring 1-7 to Galtee Rovers 1 -5 to emerge as champions and move to senior ranks next year. Arravale Rovers won the Tipperary U19B Championship defeating Moyne by a point after extra time – 2 – 7 to 2 – 6.
Loughmore Castleiney won the Tipperary senior club football championship yesterday on a score line of Loughmore 11 points to Clonmel Commercials 7 points. The results mean that Loughmore has done the double in winning the Tipperary senior Hurling and Football titles in the same year – a feat they also achieved in 2021 and 2013.
