There are 12 motions to be discussed during the upcoming September meeting of the Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District which will take place in the Civic Offices, Rosanna Rd. Tipperary town.
Many Cllrs have multiple motions to be addressed; Cllr Roger Kennedy has three motions for consideration regarding the installation of a yellow box in the Junction on Ladyswell St and Francis Row, for French drains to be put in place on the road into Limerick Junction, and the need for a plebiscite regarding the street name for the residents of Williams St Cashel, Cllr Liam Browne is seeking for the council to erect suitable posts preventing vehicles parking on the pathway to Cormac Cemetery as well as the repair works to the bridge over the river Suir in Ardmayle Village, and the installation of CCTV Cameras at Cashel Playground.
Cllr John O’Heney is requesting that Tipp CO Co relinquish any interest in purchasing and developing a roads depot in Hollyford village, that they instead provide a letter of Support to the Conference of St Francis SVDP to allow them access for funding for social housing at that site, and a request for an earlier train service from Tipperary Town Station to serve Clonmel and Waterford.
Cllr Marie Murphy and Cllr Michael Anglim are seeking the installation of speed ramps approaching St. Narys National School, Clogheen.
Cllr Declan Burges is seeking a review of pedestrian and traffic safety at An Úllord Estate in Boherlahan and finally Cllr John Cross is requesting that the benches at Kickham Plaza Tipperary Town not be reinstalled at the same public location following inappropriate behaviour.
