Four Semi-Finalists For Tipperary Senior Club Hurling Championships Confirmed

The four semi-finalists for the Tipperary Senior Club Hurling Championships are known after 4 quarterfinals took place in Semple stadium over the weekend.

Reigning champions Kiladangan were defeated by Moycarkey Borris who came back from a half time deficit of 8 points to win by two points.  Toomevara, Loughmore Castleliney and Thurles Sarsfields are also through to the county semi-finals. The draw for the semifinals and the date and time of the games will be decided at a County Board Fixtures meeting in Thurles tonight. The semi-finals will both be played in Semple Stadium.

Moycarkey Borris are seeking to bridge a 40-year gap to their last Dan Breen Cup win in 1984. Toomevara last won the Tipperary senior title in 2008 while the other semi-finalists have won in recent years – Thurles Sarsfields in 2017 and Loughmore Castleliney in 2021.The Tipperary Club Champions are straight through to the semi final of the Munster Championship set for November 17th where they will take on the winner of the quarterfinal match between the Limerick and Waterford Champions due to be played on November 3rd.
