7 Drivers Caught Speeding Outside Co. Tipp National School In 20 Minutes

The Tipperary Roads Policing Unit continues to appeal to drivers to reduce their speeds and to be mindful of prevailing conditions. 

A driver was caught speeding at 156 kilometers on the M7 motorway near Nenagh this week.

The speeding offence was detected in wet conditions making it particularly dangerous according to Gardaí.

The roads policing unit posted details of seven drivers caught speeding outside a  National school near Nenagh over a period of just 20 minutes earlier this week.

The Tipperary Roads Policing Unit were monitoring the 60 km speed limit zone outside the school during a period of wet weather conditions.

Many of the speeding motorists were doing over 90km/hr as they travelled past the school.

The drivers involved have been issued Fixed Charge Notices in respect of the offences.
