Uisce Eireann is working to repair two different water mains pipes in south Tipperary while Two Boil Water Notices issued last week for the Horse and Jockey Public Water Supply and the Linguan (Carrick-on-Suir) Public Water supply remain in effect.
A burst water main in West Tipperary is due to be repaired by 9am on Monday (September 9th). This outage is affecting Mount Bruis, Ardlomen, Clonpet, Rathkea, Kilross, Ballinahough, Shronell, Lattin, Lattin East, Emly, Limerick Junction, Monard, Glenbane, Duncummin, Ballyvistea and surrounding areas. Uisce Eireann expects that normal supply would be restored 3 to 4 hours after repairs are completed.
Works are due to commence at 8am in Ardfinnan on a burst main that is disrupting supply to Castleview Estate, Magherareagh, Ballybrado, Roosca, Ballyea, Ballyhist, Castlegrace and surrounding areas. The repairs in Ardfinnan are due to be completed at 5pm today.
