Members of County Tipperary Chamber of Commerce are invited to attend a breakfast briefing on September 5th about changes to the pension scheme in Ireland.

Under the new scheme auto-enrolment will commence for all employees aged between 23 and 60 that earn more than €20,000 per annum that are not currently in a pension scheme.

The change is expected to commence in early  2025 and affect 800,000 employees.  Employers will be required to match employee contributions, which will be further ‘topped up’ by the State.

The free breakfast briefing will be held between 8am and 10am and will take place at the Anner Hotel Thurles.

Three speakers will deliver presentations – Economist Dan Power, Declan Maher from DMFS and Richie O’Neill from Zurich Pensions. Interested parties can register by emailing [email protected] .
