Two Status Yellow Weather Warnings Issued By Met Eireann

Met Eireann has issued two status yellow weather warnings.

County Tipperary and all of Munster along with counties Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Kildare and Dublin is under a Status Yellow wind warning with unseasonably strong and gusty south to southwest winds veering west to northwest expected.

Met Eireann is warning of possible fallen trees, power outages and loose objects being displaced. The warning comes into effect at midnight tonight and ends at 6am tomorrow morning. Any customers experiencing power outages can check on the ESB Network website at powercheck.ie for updates or telephone 1800 372 999 to report a fault. Customers are advised to have their MPRN number (account number found on the company bill) on hand when contacting ESB networks.

County Clare and counties Galway, Roscommon Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, and Westmeath are subject to a Status Yellow Rain Warning from 10pm tonight until  4am tomorrow.The weather system is part of storm Lillian  – the 12th named storm this year.
