5 Tipperary Minor Team Members Selected For The Electric Ireland Minor Hurling Team Of The Year

Five members of the Tipperary Minor team have been selected on the Electric Ireland Minor Hurling team of the year.
The Tipperary  team won the All Ireland minor title in 2024 after an extra time win over Kilkenny. Two Tipperary players were sent off in the first half of the game meaning the Tipperary team competed against superior numbers of players for most of the game. Final Score Tipperary  2 – 17 Kilkenny 3 – 12.

The players selected are Cillian Minogue and Euan Murray from Durlas Og,  Billy O’Brien Nenagh Eire Og, Tiarnan Ryan and Cathal O’Reilly both from Holycross Ballycahill GAA Club. Cathal O’Reilly is the team captain and a student at Coláiste Mhuire in Thurles.
