Tipperary Musical Society Celebrate Win At AIMS Awards

Tipperary Musical Society are celebrating after winning a category at the AIMS Awards over the weekend.

Deirde Ryan scooped the Gilbert Award for Best Comedienne playing Frau Blúcher in Young Frankenstein.

Ms Ryan thanked people for their kind messages on Facebook and says she’s thrilled to have been able to bring home gold for Tipp Town on behalf of society.

While Nenagh Choral Society was a Sullivan Award winner for Best Programme of their musical Beauty and the Beast.

The Association of Irish Musical Societies organises the AIMS Awards annually with the aim to highlight the talent in the Musical Societies nationwide.
