The Tipperary Camogie Team are Munster Senior Champions for 2023.
The team defeated Clare in the final played at Semple Stadium on Saturday on a score line of Tipperary 1- 26 to Clare’s 1 – 9 . It is the first trophy won by the senior team in 13 years and builds on underage success in that period. Karen Kennedy and Clodagh Quirke are joint captains of the team which now continues their season seeking All Ireland victory.
Tipperary also won the Munster U17 title this weekend defeating Cork by 5 points on a score line of 1 – 11 to 9 points. The Premier county will seek a third Munster crown in next Sunday’s Junior Munster Final Vs Limerick in Holycross which will throw in at noon.
