Today is Europe Day – the 50th anniversary of Ireland’s EU membership since our decision to join the European Economic Community(EEC) in 1972.
Tipperary County Council has partnered with the North and South Branches of Tipperary Macra for a live debate on the theme of our membership of the EU.
The Motion explores the fact that ‘Membership of the EU may be our greatest protection from today’s challenges’.
The debate will take place tonight, May 9th at 8.00pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel. The event is a free event with finger food and refreshments available for all attendees.
Full details are available on the Council website and spaces can be booked on the Eventbrite website at this link here.
