Water supplies are due to be fully restored this morning for residents near Dundrum, Knockavilla and surrounding areas. A burst water main was repaired in Deerpark on Saturday but a second problem with a valve then caused disruption to supply. The valve was repaired yesterday and all areas should have supply fully restored at this time.
In Tipperary town today planned repair works may cause supply disruption – two sets of works are planned for today – firstly in O’Brien street and surrounding areas from 11am until 4pm and later this evening from 7pm until 1am on Tuesday morning(Apr25) works are planned for Bridge Street. These are both part of the national leakage reduction programme and drivers are advised of traffic management at both locations until the works are completed.
