499

Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District is running a Bulky Items Collection Service for householders in Tipperary town at the beginning of May.

The aim is to help householders dispose of items in an orderly fashion and to prevent possible fly tipping or illegal waste disposal.

A charge of €10 will apply for bulky items and a fee of €20 will apply for three piece suites. The collections will be made in the week starting May 8th.

Households interested in availing of the service will be required to book and pay in advance – this can be done by calling Tipperary County Council on 0818 06 5000 or by visiting the council offices on Rosanna Road, Tipperary town.

Those interested are asked to arrange a collection slot before 4.30pm on Tuesday May 2nd and provide details of the collection address, their contact details and a description of the items.

Once all bookings have been made the person will be notified of the time for their items to be collected.
