Cashel’s Spafield FRC Secures Over €4,400 Energy Fund

Funding of €213,000 approved under the Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme to support 128 organisations across the country has been allocated today.

The once off funding is intended to help with increased energy costs.

The total number of organisations supported under the initiative to date is 680.

Although the scheme is closed to new applicants the Department says that it is examining applications on file to assess if they may qualify for other schemes and that further announcements are expected in the coming weeks.

€14,024 is allocated to 7 organisations in county Tipperary including –

Knockanrawley Resource Centre Tipperary town €5,370,  Spafield Family Resource Centre Cashel €4,430,  Cuan Saor Women’s Refuge Clonmel €1,738,  Borrisoleigh Community Centre  €849,  Burncourt Community Council  €632, Ballinahinch Community Development  €523 and Ballagh Social Centre  €482
