As part of its latest ‘careers campaign’, the Construction Industry Federation is reminding local businesses and companies across Tipperary to support young people looking for second level work experience wherever possible.
The Construction Industry Federation wants to promote the sector locally and encourage more young people to consider a career in construction.
In addition, the Construction Industry Federation has launched a ‘Constructing Your Future’ video competition to highlight the exciting opportunities available to young people.
Transition Year, Leaving Cert Applied and Youthreach students across Tipperary who are currently undertaking work placements in the construction sector can enter the competition.
Students are encouraged to share what they have learned on work experience in a short video to be in with a chance to win.
There will be prizes for three lucky winners; a €400 Ticketmaster Voucher, a GoPro Camera or Apple Air Pods. Full details are available on the CIF website at this link here and the closing date is April 21st
