Work experience students in Tipperary could be in with a chance to win €400 in a video competition. The Construction Industry Federation has launched a ‘Constructing Your Future’ video competition to highlight the exciting opportunities available to young people through a career in the construction sector. Transition Year, Leaving Cert Applied and Youthreach students across Tipperary who are currently undertaking work placements in the construction sector can enter the competition.
Students are encouraged to share what they have learned on work experience in a short video to be in with a chance to win.
The video can be a ‘highlights’ video to a daily diary documentary or anything in between.
There will be prizes for three lucky winners; a €400 Ticketmaster Voucher, a GoPro Camera or Apple AirPods. Full details are available here. The deadline for applications is April 21st 2023.
The competition is part of a wider campaign to help the construction sector to recruit staff. The Construction Industry Federation is reminding local businesses and companies across Tipperary to support young people looking for second level work experience wherever possible to promote the sector locally and encourage more young people to consider a career in construction.
