Gardaí in the Clonmel District are seeking the assistance of the public in relation to investigations into five incidents over the course of the weekend (10th March to 12th March inclusive) where parked vans were targeted.
The incidents occurred in Prior Park Estate Clonmel, Glenview estate Carrick on Suir, Main Street Fethard, Auburn Park Estate Clonmel and the Killaghy Crescent Estate in Mullinahone.
The robbery in Fethard involved at least three suspects.
They forcibly opened the van and were observed leaving the area in a small dark-coloured hatchback car.
Tools and equipment were taken from all of the vehicles.
The public are being strongly advised to lock parked or unattended vehicles at all times, day and night, and to avoid keeping any sums of money or other items of value in vehicles.
