Funding of almost €1M is being allocated for several projects in County Tipperary under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme. The projects include a new promenade in Ballina, a new community centre and remote work hub in Lorrha, a community digital hub in Mullinahone, an outdoor gym facility in Templemore, a new community space in Newport and funding for a feasibility study for a digital hub in Cashel.

Martin Lynch, President of the Cashel Chamber of Commerce says the funding of €44,058 will be used to develop a business case for a digital hub in Cashel, as well as an evaluation of the selected building to host the hub, including site/architectural surveys, design and preliminary cost estimate.

If completed, the centre will include high-speed and cutting-edge technical facilities and services, as well as meeting rooms, event and training spaces, with a focus on connecting people.
