This is an increased payment rate applying from December 1st 2022. The payment will be made via the Department of Social Protection.

Under the new programme, Tipperary County Council will take offers of vacant houses, apartments or holiday homes for temporary accommodation, liaise with owners to assess suitability, and arrange for their use by Ukrainian people and families.Property owners can offer homes at offerahome.ie or by contacting the county council directly.  Anyone offering to share their own home with refugees is asked to contact the Irish Red Cross who will process applications of this type.
