A man (70s) has died in a house fire in Clonmel overnight.
Gardaí were alerted by local Fire Services about reports of a house fire on River Street in the town shortly after 6:30am this morning (Sunday, Nov 20th)
The occupant of the house was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to the Mortuary at Tipperary University Hospital.
A file will be prepared for the Coroner.
It’s believed that foul play is not suspected.
