Tipp Mid West’s Stevie O Donnell Included In Volunteer Ireland Awards Shortlist

Two Tipperary Volunteers are included in the Volunteer Ireland Awards Shortlist 2022 released today.

There are 11 categories for the awards and Tipperary town resident Stevie O’Donnell has been shortlisted in the Arts Culture and Festivals Category.

Stevie O’Donnell’s contribution as a volunteer will be celebrated at the Volunteer Ireland Awards in Dublin on Friday, 2 December where the winner in each category will be announced.

Mr O’Donnell is involved with several community events such as It’s a Long Way to Tipperary Festival, Saint Patrick’s Day Festival, Light Up the Plan Christmas Cultural Event, initiatives from Tipperary Chamber such as Markets, turning on the Christmas Lights, Santa visits and Craft Fairs.

In addition, Stevie is heavily involved in Tipperary Vintage Rally and Tipperary Lions Club. Mr O’Donnell also volunteers at Tipp Mid West Radio where he provides superb sports coverage. Mr O’Donnell was nominated by Cllr Anne Marie Ryan.

The second nominee from County Tipperary is Mr Pat Hayes from Clonmel Town FC shortlisted in the Sports and Recreation Category. Full details can be found on the website volunteer.ie
