Tipp Town To Benefit From Landscaping & Biodiversity Plan

Tipperary Town is to benefit from a Landscaping and Biodiversity Plan  to run from 2022 to 2027.

The new extensive plan will be officially launched at a public event on November 18th in St Ailbe’s School.

This event is organised by the Tipperary Town Revitalisation Task Force and Tipperary Tidy Towns.

In addition, a series of posters for the Tipperary Tidy Towns “Pride in Our Community” poster experience will be revealed and available at the event in St Ailbe’s which commences at 7pm on Friday Nov 18th.

Éanna ní Lamhna will be the special guest for the event and Ms Ni Lamhna will give a talk on the importance of nature in urban landscapes. Ms Ruth Broderick, an expert in  Heritage Garden Conservation and Ethnobotany, developed the plan for Tipperary Town. 

The plan will detail the needs of Tipperary Town in relation to the development of green space, landscape, and biodiversity.
