Contemporary visual artists are being invited to apply to a new Cahir Artist Studio Residency Opportunity developed by Cahir Arts and Tipperary Arts Office.
The aim is to encourage artists to work in Cahir, Co. Tipperary by supporting a studio space for an artist in the recently developed gallery and studio initiative.
Applicants MUST be born in or live in County Tipperary
This award offers:
Flexible access to an artist studio work space for a three month period (November 2022- Jan 2023)
Support of the gallery curator and owner in establishing local contacts, artistic development and marketing of artwork
Access to a kiln, pottery wheels and co-working/co-making spaces when available
A bursary award of €500 towards materials/development costs
An exhibition of work created during the residency period in the adjacent Gallery
