Rock Of Cashel Most Popular OPW Monument Outside Of Dublin

The Rock of Cashel so far this year has generated revenue of nearly €1.1m according to the Office of Public Works.

It’s the second most popular visitor attraction in the country and it’s holds the number one spot outside of Dublin.

The Co. Tipperary historical monument is also ahead of Kilkenny Castle.

In 2019, the total amount of entrance fees collected at national monuments run by the OPW was 12.4 million euro.

Minister of State Patrick O’Donovan revealed the data in response to a parliamentary question from Independent TD Michael McNamara.
