Garda are continuing to clamp down on drivers abusing the dedicated spaces provided via disability parking bays.
Garda in Thurles from the Tipperary Roads Policing found a Taxi parked in a disabled parking bay in lower Liberty Square.
The vehicle had no blue permit nor had the passenger.
As part of Operation Enable the driver was issued a €150 fine.
Operation Enable is a Garda programme to ensure that disable parking bays and blue badges are used in accordance with regulations under which they were issued.
