Garda from the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit happened upon a car as it was reversing up a slip road from the M7 in Nenagh over the weekend.
The Garda intervened and no collision occurred.
The motorist stated that they had missed their turn and didn’t intend to enter the M7.
Garda are reminding motorists not to turn around or reverse when using the Motorway network.
The driver will now face a court charge.
