The Tipperary Town Murals group have announced that a Workshop focusing on a Mural to celebrate the town’s musical heritage will take place on Monday September 19th at 7pm.
The workshop will be facilitated by Neil O’Dwyer of Irish Murals, a local professional artist.
The location for the workshop is the CJ Kickham Band Hall on Davis Street. Anyone interested in attending is asked to contact the Task Force office on Bridge Street or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are plans underway for three other murals in Tipperary town to celebrate Biodiversity, Industrial Heritage and Youth Culture & Heritage at locations on Abbey Street, Bridge Street and Main Street.
In addition a workshop will be held on Wednesday September 21st at 6pm in St Ailbe’s school to finalise content and logistics for a painting day(weather permitting) on October 1st to create a community mural in James Connolly Park on the wall of Ronan’s Shop.
