The US country music star is set to perform to almost 400,000 fans over 5 nights in Croke Park.

Garth Brooks will play tonight, Saturday and Sunday along with next Friday and Saturday (Sept 16-17th).

The 60 year old and his wife Trisha Yearwood arrived in Dublin this week.

Organisers have warned those attending to prepare their journey to and from the Dublin venue.

Those attending are advised to check their tickets in advance of the concert to ensure they travel on the correct date, and have the tickets downloaded on their phone.

Organisers have also stressed the importance of making the phone is charged, as this will be the only method of gaining entry to the concert.

Screenshots or printouts of digital tickets will not be accepted, and they have advised all gig goers to ensure they download their tickets from their Ticketmaster account to your iPhone wallet / Google Pay wallet in advance of show day as network coverage may not be available at the venue.

Patrons are also asked to ensure the brightness on their phone is set at maximum as they enter the scanning area.

Trains are heavily booked for the weekend especially from Limerick and Cork.

The exact length of the show hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s rumoured to be in excess of two hours.

It is expected that the show will a greatest hits show with a sprinkling of cover versions.

Croke Park has a curfew set for 10.30pm. Friday ticketholders can expect some light showers, Saturday’s forecast is ideal while those attending on Sunday are likely in for a wet day with rain predicated throughout the show and raincoats are advised.

Bags larger than A4 will not be permitted into the venue and any large lens professional cameras or any form of video recorder will not be admitted.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted on the pitch standing areas.

Children under the age of five are not permitted in the concert venue at all, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the show.

Concertgoers are also asked to be respectful of local residents and their property.
