Organisation Chairperson Aoife McGillycuddy believes this is a noticeable problem for the honeybee and all pollinators.

Yesterday was World Honey Bee Day its aim is to recognise both the honey bee and the beekeepers who tend the hives.

Ms McGillycuddy also owns Galtee Honey Farm and is encourage people to re-wild their gardens naturally saying it’s important not to introduce a species that could damage native biodiversity.
