Roses To Visit Many Tipperary Attractions In 24 Hours

16 Roses are set to experience what Tipperary has to offer over the next 24 hours.

A reception was held for the Roses at the Minella Hotel in Clonmel this afternoon.

The women will stay over at the hotel and each will received a hamper full of local products.

Cathaoirleach Roger Kennedy welcomed all the Roses to the county especially Tipperary rep Aisling O Donovan.

The Fianna Fail councillor also invited the Roses to bring their family and friends to the county for a longer stay in the future admitting that the county had alot more attractions that couldn’t be fitted into the time available.

The Irish along with the International Roses including representatives from Florida, Perth and Newfoundland will visit a number of locations to showcase the Premier County.

Tipperary Food Producer spoke to the Roses about their products at the event.

Liz Nallen owner of the hotel and Chairperson of Tipp Tourism encouraged the women to share their experiences of the county when they go home and tell them how many places there are to see in the county.
