The Penney’s retail outlet in Clonmel has plans to expand by an estimated 622 square metres.
The company is seeking planning permission to provide a new customer lift, nine new fitting rooms and new cash points in space formerly used as a storage area.
Staff facilities including staff training space and staff toilets are also included.
The store is located on O’Connell Street in Clonmel.
The planning application is now with Tipperary County Council and submissions can be made up to Aug 29th and a final decision is due on September 19th.
