The final two motions were in the name of Cllr AnnMarie Ryan – the first motion related to safety concerns at Curtin’s cross near Kilshane.

The Cllr had raised the difficulty of accessing the N24.

Council management says that the junction was submitted to the Road Section of Tipperary County Council earlier this year for inspection and funding under the TII Road Safety Scheme.

The motion has been sent to the Roads section to reinforce the need for inspection at the location

The final motion was in respect of Safety measures at Monard Village seeking an upgrade of the zebra crossing to a pedestrian lights system.

As alterations to the crossing must be agreed with TII the motion has been sent to them for a response.
