Farmers across Tipperary are being invited to attend an information meeting about renewable energy.
The event is being led by South Tipperary IFA and will take place on Tuesday evening 28th June at The Apple Farm Cahir (E21 YX33).
The Oireachtas Agriculture committee has recently put renewed focus on the use of renewables as a means of energy and income generation for farmers.
Speakers at the event on Tuesday will include James Kelly IFA Director of Organisation, John Fogarty IFA Templederry Windfarm Community Power and Barry Caslin Teagasc Energy and Rural Development Specialist.
The meeting is scheduled for 7.30pm.
