Tipperary county council has announced that a virtual Civic Reception will be held on Thursday June 23rd to honour Liam Fleming, the founder of Siúl Eile Walking initiative.
The event will take place at 7pm and will be live streamed on the Council’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tipperarycc.
A recording of the event will be available on the website www.tipperarycoco.ie shortly after the event takes place.
Siúl Eile is a social enterprise led by Mr Fleming and supported by over 100 volunteers – it aims to reduce rural isolation and improve well being by encouraging and facilitating people to go walking in their local community or at specially arranged events in key locations such as the Knockmealdowns or established woodland trails.
