A local Kayaking club is highlighting the dangers involved in going into the water on your own.
Cahir, Ardfinnan Kayaking Club are making the statement after a piece of their equipment went missing but it has since been found.
Will Nugent says they’ve a policy that there needs to be at least three people in the water at all times to ensure everyone’s safety.
The club has recently relocated and are fundraising to raise 3,000 euro to provide fencing to secure their equipment.
