Irish Rail expect to have works on Station road in Tipperary Town finished on schedule today to allow for the road to reopen later this afternoon.
Contractors will be finishing the tarmac work today and then the crossing has to be painted appropriately.
In the meantime diversions are in place with Heavy Goods Vehicles diverted via O’Brien Street and Galbally Road and cars and Light Goods Vehicles to use the Link Road and the N24 Clonmel road.
