Irish Steam Engine Road Run To Pass Through West Tipp

The Irish Steam Engine Owners Association Road Run is set to make its way through West Tipperary.

The Irish Wheelchair Association is the selected charity this year for the event which takes place today until Friday (June 3rd).

The ISEOA have been waiting for 2 years to bring this event back because of the pandemic.

The run goes from Newbridge to Cork with it passing Littleton, Horse and Jockey and Cashel on Tuesday.

The organisation is encouraging people to bring the family out to your local town and support!

All funds raised will support local IWA centres, and the route and times can be found below for the event.

Saturday 28th May – 11am-12pm (Newbridge) – 12.30pm-2.30pm (Kildare Town), 2.30-3.30pm (Monasterevin), 4.30-6pm (Traceys the Heath)

Sunday 29th May – 11.30am – 12.30pm (Portlaoise), 12.30pm – 4.30pm (Abbeyleix), 2.30pm – 4.30pm (Durrow)

Monday 30th May – 10.30am – 11.30am (Cullahill), 12.00pm – 3.00pm (Johnstown), 2.30pm – 4.30pm (Urlingford)

Tuesday 31st May – 11.30am (Littleon), 11.30am – 12.30pm (Horse and Jockey), 3.00pm – 6.00pm (Cashel)

Wednesday 1st June – 10.30am – 11.30am (Newin), 2.30pm – 5.30pm (Michelstown)

Thursday 2nd June – 10am (Michelstown), 12.30pm – 4.00pm (Rathcormack)

Friday 3rd June – 10.00am – 11.00am (Glanmire), 10.00am – 2.00pm (Cork City), 2.00pm – 4.00pm (Half Way)
