Cashel Minor Injury Unit is expected to return to a full 5 day service from May 30th.
In recent weeks the service has been suspended or operating on a limited basis of two days per week due to a lack of a supervising doctor.
The unit has a doctor, 2 nurses and some admin staff.
Cllr Declan Burgess says he has been informed that sufficient medical cover is now secured for the Injury unit to function 5 days a week.
