An accident on the southbound lane of the M7 motorway between Junctions 27 and 28 has caused delays for motorists heading towards Limerick this lunch time.
The collision occurred between Birdhill and Castletroy West at approximately 12.25pm.
There is a full closure of all lanes in place. Garda in Nenagh report that as of now no serious injuries are reported and that emergency services on the scene hope to reopen the road very shortly.
TII Motorway Traffic Control Centre is advising drivers heading towards Limerick to expect delays.
