Consultants involved in designing the N24 Road upgrade project between Waterford and Cahir will be holding an event in Cahir House hotel today from 2pm until 8pm.
The details of proposals developed by ARUP consultants in collaboration with Transport Infrastructure Ireland will be made available at the meeting.
A non-statutory public consultation is now live. Information is available in an online consultation room on the project website www.n24waterford2cahir.ie or by attending one of the in-person public consultation events.
Potential solutions on the route include alternative transport solutions such as bus, rail and active travel modes, and different road based options.
A similar meeting will be held in the Carraig hotel Carrick on Suir tomorrow Friday again from 2pm – 6pm. Submissions can be made up until close of business Friday 20 May 2022.
The final route selection for the N24 from Cahir to Oola section will be published on May 23rd.
