LISTEN: Co. Tipp Man Heading To Ukraine Farm To Start Sowing Season

A County Tipperary man will be heading to his farm in Ukraine this week to begin the sowing season.

Jonathan Clibborn says he hopes to assist with efforts to provide crops and food for the Ukrainian domestic market.

The Clogheen native says there’s a big push to get land sowed in the West of Ukraine to compensate for the East.

There’s logistic issues in getting last year’s harvest out of the country as the transport corridor in the centre of the Russian attack.

He’s been telling Tipp Mid West Radio’s Eoin O Donoghue about his journey and why he’s heading to the country tomorrow:
