Public Meeting On ‘The Plan’ Design In Tipp Town Today

532

The Tipp Town Revitalisation committee is hosting an open public consultation about the design of the ‘The Plan’

Locals are being encouraged to attend and meet the design team and share their ideas on the future of the facility.

The meeting takes place between 10am until 12 noon this Saturday (April 2nd) at ‘The Plan.

The group says the reason the project has been undertaken is that there’s a need to enhance the space and carry out some preventative maintenance was identified by the community during our early consultations.

There is also a long-standing issue with drainage at the site as residents and regular users will be aware, along with some structural issues with the bandstand, footpaths and boundary wall.

These are all being looked at as part of the project, and there may be some new features and accessibility improvements recommended depending on the outcome of the consultations.

There are no plans whatsoever at this stage to make dramatic changes to the park.

The aim of the project is to enhance the space and ensure that area can continue to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike into the future.

A project plan will be designed from there.

The community will be kept informed at all stages of the design process, and there will be opportunities to contribute to the project at every stage.
