Over €111,000 Secured For Several Co. Tipp Swimming Pool Operators

An allocation of €111,594.81 in funding from Sport Ireland and Ireland Active has been made for a number of swimming pool operators across county Tipperary.  

This funding is part of an overall €3.2 million funding package and forms part of the €73.6m in Covid funding to support the sport sector announced by Government last

December. The announcement has been welcomed by Tipperary TD Michael Lowry.

The sector was badly hit during the pandemic with many facilities closing for extended periods. 

Funding allocated today sees the highest sum of €12,694 allocated to Roscrea Leisure Centre and the lowest sum of €5,995 euros allocated to Kilcoran Lodge Hotel and Leisure centre.

Other amounts within this range has been allocated to the Anner Leisure Centre, The Talbot Hotel, Club Minella, Nenagh Leisure Centre, Sean Kelly Sport Centre, Thurles Leisure Centre, Trinity Leisure Club, the Lakeside Leisure centre  and Ballykisteen Hotel.
